Thanks for posting this! I didn’t know there were 2 orgs in PA, one being a ‘city office’ for Cinncy Org. Maybe Jeannie has finally abandoned ship? She’s sure been through the ringer with the cult.

This eviction notice reminds me of other places they are in legal trouble with, for not paying rents or taxes or contractors. CT, San Diego are two examples of ongoing cases. in Ga they just settled a case. We know how they pay their bills, so it’s no wonder.

See, this makes me think that the cult is in trouble because conduct like this makes no sense whatsoever.

Yes, I know all about the HCOPL of 28 January 1965, that (sort of) says don’t pay bills on time. But here’s how I see it. I get a credit card bill that is due on the first of the month. I know that they don’t penalize me with late fees until the tenth of the month, so I pay it at 4:59pm on the ninth of the month. Because if I have a ton of money in the bank, those extra nine days give me more interest.

Of course, if I get a huge late fee on day ten that wipes the interest I earn, this dateline paying thing is a financial loss, not a way to earn extra interest like Ella Rich said it would be.

Why the FUCK would you get a tax lien assessed, property foreclosed and auctioned off, blight citations, etc., if you were operating off of the instructions in this HCOPL?

So really, I think something more than garden variety incompetence or blind adherence to the “tech” is causing all this. But that’s just me. It simply defies any other explanation.

I was in that “City Office” a few times when I was in.
Rarely I observed public there. The main focus was book sales
and finding public for Cincinnati Org.

I am not very surprised about that eviction note, since some major Pittsburgh feeders
who helped to establish the place a few years ago are now declared SPs and either Indies or off the radar all together.

Cincinnati/Florence Org is not doing that hot either.
Although, may be they already paid the bill, for PR reasons.
Or decided to close it down. Time will tell.

Jeanie Sonenfild is reportedly at Flag right now.

Thank you, Takin’ Time.

AnonyMary, thank you for the link on Jeanie. It’s a good one.

As far as Pittsburgh, I am pretty sure there were never 2 Orgs in PA.
Or any Org. The “City Office” on South Side is all I’m aware of.

The tech never intended that an org just keeps falling farther and farther behind, although this is what’s happening in many cases; particularly as revenues fall ever lower.

Interesting when you consider that the surveillance on Pat Broeker was cut. I always thought that Pat Broeker’s surveillance detail was a non-negotiable expense. This could end quicker than we think.

The idea of squeezing every penny of interest out of your own money before paying a bill is actually pretty decent financial advice. I’ve just seen people on this board talk about LRH saying not to pay bills, and that’s just plain inaccurate.

Any updates on this? Chuck Beatty or anyone from the area?

Part of the reason the office might be gone or re-assigned to another closer
org is the Ideal Org strategy, where each org has it’s own region and not to interfere
with another orgs.

A loooong time ago, there was also an org in Ardmore, PA. At least I’m pretty sure it was an Org. Philly also existed at that time, so there would have been 2 orgs in PA – at least in the early ’70s. AFAIK, Philly Org plods on, but Ardmore is long gone.

Pittsburgh – Failed Org.? Failed City Office?

What we got from Marc about the situation in Pittsburgh. Looks like that City Office of Cincinnati is closing down!
